All
7400 Series Telephones have the following features:
You can control the volume of the handset, ringer, and speaker
with the Jog Dial Volume Control. Every model has an eXtra Device
Port (XDP) that you can plug any Single Line Device into, i.e. Cordless
Phone, Fax Machine, Modem, or Answering Machine. This port can either
be set as having the same extension number as the Digital Telephone
it is hooked to or it can have it's own extension number entirely.
If you turn on Auto Answer at your telephone all Intercom calls
to your extension will automatically activate your speakerphone
so you don't have to stop what your doing and physically pick up
the telephone to talk to the calling party. All 7400 Series Phones
can initiate and receive Whisper Off Hook Call Announce (WOHCA)
through the handset. Buttons not used for outside lines can be programed
for Speed Dial, Direct Station Selection/Busy Lamp, Phantom Extension,
and Voice Mail Transfer just to name a few. Each line can be assigned
a up to 8 different ringing tones.
The
Display Telephones have the following features:
Displays date and time while idle. When in use the display shows
the duration of your current call. When the optional Caller ID card
is installed in your system and your local Telephone Company provides
both name and number they will display both. You can scroll through
10 Personal and 500 System Speed Names with the Jog Dial, as well
as the Intercom Names and Telephone Features. When a call from another
stations rings at your phone the display will show the calling parties
extension number and name (if programed).
